Process for transferring mutual fund holdings from other
accounts to your ICICIdirect.com account

Only requests which meet the following criteria can be transferred

The name of the holder should be the same as the one registered with
ICICIdirect.com

If you have a SIP then it needs to be cancelled, before placing a Transfer in

  request. This is because, the offline SIP will not be reflected on ICICIdirect.com. After Transfer in is done, you can start SIP online easily
Documents Required :

Transfer in request letter, which can be downloaded from the ICICIdirect.com
website, after placing the Transfer in order
Self attested PAN copies for each Transfer in request

Statement of Holding for the folios to be Transferred in

Cancelled cheque from savings bank account which is linked to trading account

Procedure to be followed :
Login to your ICICIdirect.com account and go to Mutual Funds page

Click on Transfer In

Select AMC pertaining to offline folio which is to be transferred

Enter correct folio number

Select Joint holder name ( if any) from joint holder details

Click on Submit

Once the order is submitted, option for printing the TI application will be available.  Post printing the TI application, the account holder will have to submit the aforesaid forms duly filled and signed (as directed) to the nearest ICICIdirect Store or on below mentioned address.

How does the Transfer in request take place?

Once you place a Transfer in request online, the status of the order

 

will be 'Documents Awaited' in Transfer in Book till the customer sends the documents to us

On receipt of the documents for Transfer in, the same are first verified in

  accordance with the basic requirements of the respective Asset Management Company (AMC)

Post verification, the documents are sent to the AMC/Registrar for further
  processing and the status of the order is changed to "Sent to Registrar"

On confirmation from the AMC/Registrar, the number of units transferred in is

 

updated on the site and the status of the order then becomes "Executed". You can then view the units online in your unit holdings

The process time for the Transfer in process is 30 working days from the date of
  receipt of documents at ICICI Securities Ltd.
